Welcome

Chilling Out In Victoria, BC – May 2011

Welcome to my blog about our travel adventures. Originally this was a blog about living in Germany but when that ended this blog came to a standstill. That’s why there’s such a gap between my last post and the new ones that will soon appear.

So this new blog is going to be about our travel adventures past, present, and future wherever that may take us. I’ll post pictures, observations, recommendations, video tours, and anything else I can think of along the way. I encourage you to add your comments as well.

So check back often. I’ll be posting on a more regular basis now sharing anything that I feel is relevant and interesting. I hope you enjoy it.

All the Best,

Veronica

  1. So nice! I’ll return with much more time and read it all, cause you’re describing the country i live in such a wonderful way. Laughed a lot and wish you’d return – simply for having some germans look into the mirror again :))

    • I am really glad you are enjoying my descriptions of your country. I hope you come back often and read everything. I really enjoyed finally getting to see where my grandparents were from and really wished that I could have stayed longer and learned the language. Unfortunately I know very little in German. (Therefore it’s really hard for me to read your blog which I really want to :-) ) Where in Germany are you? What part of my adventures made you laugh? :-)

      • I live in the Vulkaneifel (volcanic Westeifel), a landscape between Trier and Bonn with deep Maare (crater lakes), hills, forests, cattle and sheep, not far from river Mosel.

I’ve been living in Cologne for almost 20 years and loved what you wrote about peoples behaviour and their eating habits. Though I’m not wholly german with a russian father and born in Brasil I like it very much to get looks from ‘outside Germany’ to it.

  2. I am looking forward to your future posts. Take care :-)
